We established our business in 1999 to develop Internet applications with a unique blend of creativity, clarity and business focus; delivering a rewarding yet relevant balance of creativity and content. Today we're an innovative Web development and Web design business bringing nearly ten years of practical experience to all we do.
We work in two distinct ways. Firstly we work directly for clients, offering a range of digital services, from Web design, through Web development and online marketing.

LAMP Digital is the new name for copycatweb and today we bring nearly ten years of practical experience in to all we do. We're an innovative Web development and Web design business, now in our tenth year. We think of ourselves as Web developers rather than Web designers as we believe this reflects the focus of our business.

Our principal business focus is to help you work more efficiently and productively through the innovative use of Web technology or online marketing. We're trusted by organisations such as Vodafone, DVLA, Glasgow City Council and Leeds Chamber yet we treat local SME's with just the same degree of attention. We're not geeks, we appreciate the need for you to hear 'plain English'. Like you, we're business people, so we're not alarmed when we hear, "that's great, but what will it actually do for my business?"
As the business is owned and managed by the same team that started the business in 1999, we have a unique depth of demonstrable personal experience that we apply to every new project.
A lot has happened in the last six months; we have moved to Salford Quays in Manchester and have employed some exciting new people to compliment the team. To freshen things up we have also decided to re-brand and refresh the existing business with a new name and new look... LAMP Digital.
Moving to Manchester has allowed us to expand and consolidate our skills and attract the best employees, clients and partners. However, we still put business at the heart of all that we do. Innovation and creativity are still the most important aspects of our business as we look for the best implementation of technology for our clients businesses, not just technology for technology sake.
Craig handles the business side of LAMP Digital and is the person you are most likely to see. He recently passed his Google Advertising Professional qualification, was accepted to the Institute of Directors and is about to embark on a year long Institute of Direct Marketing Diploma in Direct and Interactive Marketing.
Craig started the business in 1999. His long and winding career path, via OK Magazine, Rank Xerox and Time Computers started when he left the University of Leeds in 1990 with a B.Eng in Mineral Engineering.
He is most likely to be heard lamenting the speed of the Internet, with 'bloody broadband' the most common cry from his corner. His interests include Manchester United (sorry, but it's been that way since his Ma made him an MUFC strip when he was 7), U2 and running.
"I am passionate about getting all businesses onto the Internet. I am still of an age where I remember what it was like before the Internet and I understand how many people are afraid of technology although they understand how important it is to business. The work we do has to be business focused; any spend has to make the phone ring, that's how we look at all we do."
Michael joined the business in 2006 and has arguably had the most impact on the business from a technical perspective. He's the 'techy', and codes in a range of technologies from PHP to Java, his specialty. As far as we are concerned, whatever we throw at Michael, he deals with it.
He's a self-confessed 'coffee snob' and prolific recycler. He play's the bass guitar and is most likely to be heard saying 'Gosh'; he's the most polite member of Lamp Digital.
Billy is our most recent team member and is responsible for the design and construction of our Web sites. Having previously worked in a variety of roles including 3D animation and DVD/ROM production he brings a wealth of experience in a wide range of projects and creative software including: PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Vectorworks, Cinema 4D and After Effects. Coding sites to comply to current web standards using XHTML, CSS, a little Javascript, a pinch of ActionScript.
He is often spotted researching youth culture at various festivals, visiting far flung destinations and enjoying playing football when he's not injured and on crutches.
Jenny is our 'newbie' and will be joining us for the next few months. A graphic design student with good commercial experience, she will be strengthening our creative output and will be working on a number of internal design projects.
"We're proud to have been chosen to attend the UKTI/Chinwag New York Digital Mission. We'll be meeting US agencies and US businesses that want to work with the best and brightest UK agencies and visiting Web2.0 Expo."
"We are about to franchise our estate agency nationally and when we spoke to the BFA, they were extremely excited about our new Web site and all the truly unique functionality as this will be a major selling point for our proposition."
